You know somethings not right with you car you just don't know what it is. Maybe you've taken it to multiple shops that left you in a waiting room while they take your car and come back with thousands of dollars of work that needs to be done. That's not the way we like to be treated and its not the way we treat our customers either. When you come in we will provide you with free basic diagnosis of all check engine lights and other drivetrain and chassis/suspension related problems. We can even perform smoke tests for vacuum leaks to determine where that leak is coming from. If you request we will bring you to the vehicle so that you can see what the problem is before we fix it. This way you know that we are not trying to upsell you for something that you really don't need.

We have been providing these services for Lexington and surrounding areas such as Thomasville and we will think you will find it worth the drive from the Midway/Welcome area or Denton and all areas in-between such as Southmont. We strive to provide the most affordable service available to all residents of Davidson County.
When you bring your vehicle in for repair at Perryman's you can count on Lexington's top level of customer service. Our technicians have trained on vehicles from Volkswagen Golfs to Toyota Tacoma's. One of us has even combined the two by doing a diesel conversion to a Toyota pickup with the engine from a Volkswagen. Just ask Mathew he will tell you all about what was done to remove the engine from the car and get it running in the truck.
Another auto repair project that one of our technicians has worked on is converting a Chevy heavy duty truck over to run on a Cummins Diesel engine. As with the Toyota truck this involved fitting together parts that were not designed to be placed into the same vehicle. This type of fabrication and troubleshooting are things we enjoy doing.
Another project done by us before even acquiring Perrymans was a full engine and transmission swap in a Jeep Cherokee. We pulled both the engine and transmission and did a complete rebuild of both along with replacing all belts, seals, and hoses to be certain that there would not be any leaks upon reassembly.
We want to find better ways to do things and by challenging ourselves with diesel engine conversions and full engine and transmission swaps outside of work, it helps us to diagnose your car when you bring it to us. We want to keep you safe and on the road, enjoying your vehicle not questioning will it get you to your destination.
